On February 14, 1990, as the space probe Voyager 2 was past the orbit of Neptune, the cameras on board were commanded to take a set of images that showed the entire solar system from the vantage point of man's farthest traveled emissary. The idea to take such an image was Carl Sagan's. It has become one of the most awe-inspiring photographs in history, showing Earth as a single blue pixel, suspended in a sunbeam.

This is how I imagine the scene looked, looking "over the shoulder" of Voyager 2.

Wow.... simple and awesome. And it feels daaaaaaammmmnnnnn cold (I think you see Voyager's breath?!)
