Vulcan's Forge

A freighter towing a line of cargo pods approaches the gas giant HAT-P-14B, which is about 2 times the mass of Jupiter, and orbits its star in just a little under 4 and a half days. Discovered earlier this year. HAT-P-14P is one of a new class of extra-solar planets called "Hot Jupiters". They are particularly easy to find with methods currently employed by most planet-hunters. Its rings and moons are conjecture, of course, but seem a logical supposition. Sunspots and prominences can be seen in the photosphere of the star. which is a younger G-type star than our sun.
